Miss Selma's offers a solid foundation for future education. Beginning in the 2-year-old program, we emphasize the development of letter, sound, number, and name recognition. Kindergarten children are reading and comprehending at an advanced level. Spanish and music are taught 3 times a week, school wide. Computer is added to the curriculum at the 3 ½-year-old level and keyboarding, art, and physical education are all added to the student's weekly activities starting in the 4 year old program. Other advantages offered at Miss Selma's include the Accelerated Reader program, basketball, cheerleading, scouts, and piano after hours.
Classes are limited in size, allowing each child the opportunity to receive the attention needed to perform to the best of his ability. Experienced teachers offer a safe, loving environment.
Miss Selma's has been an active part of the Little Rock educational system for over 55 years. Please call (501)225-0123 for more information.
